In a store behind a store on Broadway, I used to buy paper by the pound…all kinds of papers, different colors, weights, finishes and I love them all. Besides the paper factory, there are my own collections of printed papers, Color Aid, Pantone, and paper that I’ve marbleized, silk-screened, or painted. Paper is my collectible.
As we move away from traditional sources of printed paper, it becomes more precious than ever. With this in mind, I offer this series of cut paper exploring emotions, life, love, illusions, loss and opposition. Each piece is constructed with much loved wood pulp.
